About Us

We are a group led by working folks doing door-to-door outreach in Shelbyville, TN to work together around issues that affect all of our neighbors. We are currently organizing renters in Shelbyville, TN for safer housing. 
We believe that Y'all means ALL! ​
​We are organizing with all our neighbors, and welcome folks from all our communities; we are an anti-racist group organizing with renters and our allies for a safer community! We deserve safe housing. 

In February 2019, the Bedford County Listening Project launched a community survey focused on housing and rental challenges. The survey found that 94% of the residents surveyed have trouble finding safe, affordable housing. We conducted another Survey in 2023. You can read the full reports by following the links below
